Innovation The ultra's "OneTool Service" couldn't be simpler, with clearly arranged technical components. All hydraulic components including filter, valve and stop cock are integrated in the casing and accessible from the top. Only an Allen key is required for access, so filter changes are tool-free and require just a few simple hand movements. The technical components are directly accessible in the removable electronic module, with no plug-in connection. The modular structure of the faucet allows servicing in seconds. The "Twist Stop" unique fully automatic water cutoff means that you don't even need to cut off the water supply. Small LEDs on the side of the electronic module indicate the maintenance status and allow easy diagnosis. The ultra faucet provides servicing and usage data via the iqua service interface. All functions and fine adjustments can be programmed individually on a PC via the iqua service monitor. When combined with an innovative solar module, the faucet becomes a real energy saver.

Ease of use The ultra communicates clearly and reliably with the user on a touch-free basis. The water flow is hygienically triggered by an IR sensor which detects movement along the water jet. In the Expert version for use in hospitals, medical practices and anywhere where hand hygiene is particularly important, a hygiene mode with countdown controls the required hand washing time. The water temperature and water flow time are shown on a display. Useful additional functions are activated via the iqua touch, which is integrated in the sensor window and resistant to vandalism.
Functionality The touch control can also be used to set the follow-up time, sensor sensitivity and functions such as "Permanent ON" and "Temporary OFF" for convenient cleaning of the washbasin. The hygienic rinse ensures automatic rinsing of the pipe and faucet at 12 hour, 24 hour or customized intervals, which reduces buildup of germs. An integrated anti-scalding feature indicates when the water is too hot and cuts off the flow automatically, if required.
Ecology The iqua ultra continuously ensures water savings of up to 70 percent, because water only runs when it is needed. Depending on the version selected, the two eco jet controller variants (comfort and shower jet) guarantee water saving flow rates of 6 or even just 2 liters per minute. The LCD screen integrated in the Expert version displays the water temperature and water flow time and encourages economical consumption. Combined with the solar module, the ultra becomes an energy saver "par excellence". The integrated solar cells extend the service life of the batteries to up to 8 years.
