For the first time in the history of chillers, the adsorption refrigeration and compression refrigeration technology were combined. The result: The Hybrid Chiller. It combines the environmentally friendly energy efficiency of the adsorption with the precision and efficiency of the compression. In analogy with the adsorption refrigerator of SorTech, even the Hybrid Chiller works with excess heat as a driving force. The advantage of the Hybrid Chillers is: By coupling with compression, the machine works more precise and efficient. This supplies completely new possibilities for the adsorption refrigeration. While this previously was used only in the lower power range, the adsorption refrigeration now can be used in completely new areas with enhanced coefficients of performance due to the parallel operation with a compression refrigerator. The Hybrid Chiller combines two technologies in a smart way. Thus, their advantages can be used optimally. This leads to an increase of efficiency as well as to an simultaneous increase of the fields of application for both technologies. Technology from the bests. Made in Germany. The development and production is a joint project of RIEDEL Kältetechnik and SorTech AG. In common, we developed the Hybrid Chiller in order to make the cooling requirement more efficiently, more efficient and more exactly. Riedel, the leading manufacturer of customer-oriented, demanding refrigeration systems worldwide, is the ideal cooperation partner. The company manifests itself through its high-quality and precise work. More efficiently. More easily. More precisely. EFFICIENT. Even the Hybrid Chiller uses excess heat as a drive source. This makes our cooling more cost efficient than other cooling technologies. In addition, the combination of compression and adsorption is 5.5 times more efficient than the sole cooling with compression. EASY. The Hybrid Chiller combines all mentioned advantages in just one machine, and is particularly quick to install. In addition, the Hybrid Chiller manifests itself through a low-maintenance and flexibly useable technology. EXACT. By balancing the compression refrigeration, fluctuating ambient and load temperatures can be compensated. This ensures a particularly exact cooling temperature.
