The new Hawa Purolino Plus 80 puts the transparency and elegancy of glass in the limelight and combines aesthetic appeal with a convenient technological solution. The hardware system moves sliding all-glass door installations that are mounted to the wall, suspended from the ceiling or integrated in the ceiling. Its sophisticated technology, including the SoftMove 80 soft closing mechanism, remains concealed as it is completely integrated in the top track. Designers, planners, architects and tradesmen will find the fast, well-thought-out installation process and a remarkable range of uses that includes fixed glass solutions very appealing. Convenience of use and smooth running behaviour will convince every end user.
Trolleys with high-quality ball-bearing technology, plastic-coated roller bearings and a point-fixing, rattle-proof floor guide ensure smooth, quiet running and very low roll resistance. After all, HAWA-Purolino-PLUS 80 is a typical Swiss quality product.
Its patent-pending wedge suspension sets new standards with regards to simplicity, speed of installation and height adjustment of sliding glass doors. All relevant components such as trolley, height adjustment, track stop, bumper and SoftMove 80 soft closing mechanism are always accessible, i.e. installable and removable from underneath.
The reliable, high-quality hydraulic damper in the SoftMove 80 gently decelerates the door and pulls it in to its final position. Sliding doors glide softly and silently into the end position. Its progressive damping is designed for a maximum door weight of 80 kg and optimises the sliding speed so that the door decelerates and closes very gently. It also increases protection against pinching. The SoftMove 80 soft closing mechanism is long-lasting and of especially high quality. It is maintenance-free and holds a quality certificate as it passed the continuous function test of 100,000 cycles (LGA quality certificate, TÜV Rheinland).
Installing the soft closing mechanism is the same for every application. The appearance and design of the sliding doors are free from distracting components as they are all fully integrated in the top track. SoftMove 80 for the HAWA-Purolino-PLUS 80 can dampen doors on the left, the right or on both sides. It is the natural progression of high-quality sliding convenience.
Rooms in new splendour
Whether mounted to the wall, to the ceiling or integrated in the ceiling, the HAWA-Purolino-PLUS 80 will always be at home in private homes, hotels, restaurants, business premises, administration buildings and clinics thanks to its attractiveness and versatility. Additionally, a fixed glass profile can be adapted to fit the standard top track. There is a solution available for every building situation. Product development focused on reliability and durability in addition to aspects of design. Furthermore, the hardware system is particularly convenient, cost-effective in use and very discreet.
The HAWA-Purolino-PLUS 80 creates a form-fitting connection between glass and hardware. The result is outstanding safety of use. Either toughened safety glass (ESG) or laminated safety glass (VSG) can be used in accordance with safety requirements. VSG offers a huge scope of design freedom in conjunction with decorative film.
A modular design
A modular design and well-conceived system concept make the new sliding door hardware all the more appealing. The same hardware components are used for different glass thicknesses (up to 13 mm). A standardised top track profile for wall and ceiling installations makes planning activities all the easier. Glass procurement is also easier as the HAWA-Purolino-PLUS 80 and HAWA-Puro 100-150 require the same glass drill holes. Integrating customised fixed glass elements is no trouble at all thanks to an additional profile. This is how Hawa creates benefits for flexible use in logistics and storage.
Finishes and details
Top track finishes in plain anodised aluminium and a stainless steel effect with matching cover caps guarantee high-quality, aesthetically appealing solutions. The unadorned, restrained top track design blends seamlessly with any interior when fitted to the ceiling. Alternatively, a cover track can be clipped into recessed ceiling installations from underneath. This system is used primarily for suspended or concrete ceilings. In either case, all relevant components are accessible from below without having to remove any ceiling elements. Track stops with adjustable retention springs allow the retention force to be adapted to the door weight for even greater operating convenience. The optional HAWA-Toplock sliding door lock provides the necessary security. It is ideal for planning and implementing system designs that run in front of the wall.
