We're showing the way! The parquet floor for accessible living HARO has come up with something special to facilitate accessible living for people with a visual impairment in their homes or also in specialised facilities: HARO Takteo! Combining the beauty and naturalness of parquet floors with the safety of orientation for people with a visual impairment. HARO Takteo is a special system of floor indicators based on parquet. Visually impaired people can on one hand use a cane to identify different geometries while on the other hand a foil-like loudspeaker is pre-installed on the underside to enable acoustic differentiation. This fully meets the aspirational "2-sense principle", which allows significantly safer orientation in accordance with the sensory variant.
