Hamlet is the new Swan proposal signed by Studio Controdesign and presented at the 2014 Salone del Mobile.
The striking formal purity of Hamlet makes it an ideal solution for any living space, whether modern or traditional. It is a sectional sofa with a generously proportioned seat whose design is based on the horizontality of its surfaces, as clearly evidenced by the platform structure housing the seats and armrests which confers an overall look of extreme modernity. Its severe lines are interrupted by generously proportioned volumes with feather filled cushions, as in all Swan collections, which immediately evoke a pleasurable idea of softness and an intense sensation of comfort. Added to which, the visually reduced height of the seat emphasizes the soft snug effect of the backrest cushions capable of pandering to every possible physical need for extreme comfort. The emotional perception of wellbeing is further enhanced, in fact, by the rational ergonomic design of the backrest cushions which may be reclined thanks to a special incorporated and concealed mechanism, for moments of pure relaxation.
Hamlet is yet another product with scope for personalization in the version with armrest, in perfect alignment with the soft curves of the entire project, making this sofa a majestic protagonist of the living room space or, alternatively, in the version with armless terminal section and a seat cushion that also embraces the backrest laterally, for a style that is modern and informal.

HAMLET 6 sofas + 46 modular elements + 1 pouf Wood frame and elastic webbing with filler in polyurethane foam covered in cotton and velveteen-backed fibre. Feather-filled seat cushions with insert in differentiated density polyurethane foam covered in cotton and backed cotton fabric. Feather-filled backrest cushions with a cotton cover and fitted with a frame for headrest adjustment. Feather-filled armrest cushions with insert in differentiated density polyurethane foam, covered in cotton and backed cotton and fastened to the structural frame by means of self-locking pins. Wood feet in black stained beech. All fabric upholstered elements have removable covers; leather upholstered elements have removable cushion covers and non-removable frame covers.
