Gris Pinar sandstone is grey, and petrographically it is a medium grain sandstone which has quartz and feldspars as its main components.

The material is obtained from a quarry in Barcelona, from where it is shipped to the cutting workshop for its treatment.

The layout of the strata in large banks allows large blocks of high tonnage to be obtained. These blocks are then prepared into different sizes and surface finishes.
