Frame is a mono-block chair, moulded in one piece of plywood with variable thickness and solid wood insert. The whole chair is pressed in one single process. Unusual sideways stacking idea allows the chair to stack and keep a simple, clear, almost classic form – well proportioned and ergonomic. The square cut in the backrest gives the feeling of transparency. Pure and aesthetic design of FRAME offers positive experiences for architects and customers.
Until now, the solid wood insert was only visible on natural wood or laminate finish. During the Salone del Mobile, PLYCOLLECTION is presenting a brand new finish option for the Frame chair – pigmented lacquer with natural wood sides. This allows to choose any of the RAL or NCS palettes color for the chair without sacrificing the elegant triangular solid wood insert on the side, and showing the wood structure under the pigmented lacquer layer.
The new finish will be available on request. Hall 22, Stand F33 is the place where you can see out Frame chair in black pigmented lacquer with natural wood sides. Also, we will be using bright blue Kvadrat Steelcut upholstery on these black chairs.
In the future PLYCOLLECTION is also planning to intoduce similar finishes to other models as well.
