Dare to Rug is proud to announce its first branded collaboration with renowned flooring brand Forbo.

The Dare to Rug ‘FOLK’ Collection was created with Forbo for their Marmoleum Imagine series and it comprises three signature patterns: Peony, Meadow and Bee. The patterns make reference to three essential motifs in Romanian folklore that are singularly powerful and also intertwine to create excellent patterns.

The designs are created by repeating stylised Romanian motifs and are available in three different colour combinations printed with the Aquajet technique. Forbo’s Aquajet water cutting technology enables reproduction of the most intricate designs and allows for endless creativity in floor design.

The three Marmoleum Imagine designs by Dare to Rug are available in 3 different colour combinations which allows for a huge variety of floor designs. Bee and Meadow consist of 2 colours offering the opportunity to create a positive and reversed element. Peony is made out of 3 colours. The sizes of the designs are related to each other to create an interesting play.

The designs imagined by Dare to Rug intertwine in the collection and create a powerful take on Romanian design heritage. The ‘FOLK’ collection translates ethnic inspiration to a universal design that fits numerous interiors and spaces.

Forbo Flooring Systems is a global player in high-quality commercial and residential floor coverings. They focus on environmentally friendly, functional and design-oriented floors.

Launched in 2015, Dare to Rug is the first Romanian design brand that creates hand-tufted rugs, mixing craft and design inspired by traditional patterns.
