D-ko expanded metal (d-ko strekmetaal) is made of (stainless) steel or aluminium. The material gets its open structure because of the expanding process. Sometimes this proces is referred to as stretching the metal and the material in that case being stretchmetal.

After the expanding process the metal still remains strong, durable and easy to process.

Many sizes are possible and custom made panels are available upon request.
D-ko expanded metal is mainly used for interior or exterior finishing of buildings.
