The Linius® continuous louvre system of RENSON® are aesthetic aluminium solutions, allowing the passage of air in and out of buildings whilst protecting these buildings and other installations from wind, rain and vermin. They are also ideal for concealing unsightly equipment or façades. Fitted with acoustic properties these systems also block noise. These systems consist of a support structure to which blades are fitted. Various blades are available. These blades are made from aluminium and can be anodised (20 microns) or powdercoated in any RAL or syntha Pulvin colour (60-80 microns). They are equipped with an insect mesh, fixed to the rear of the support structure. All these louvres are subjected to HEVAC testing in the UK by an internationally accredited body (BSRIA Ltd.).

The product range includes various types of blades:

oAluminium blades:

•Standard: type L.033, L.033V and L.033.8 for high-risk applications, L.033HF with larger physical free area, L.033CL closed blade and L.033IM1 with integrated insect mesh
•Heavy-duty: types L.050, L.050 HF and L.060HF with high airflow, L.066, L.066V with better water-resistance and L.066IM1 with integrated insect mesh, L.075
•Extra-heavy-duty: types L.095 and L.120

oRolled blades: types L.065AL (aluminium), L.065GL (galvanized steel) and L.065StS (stainless steel)

oAcoustic blades:
These blades consist of extruded aluminium sections with an inorganic mineral wool core (not flammable) and a perforated back. They combine a high physical free area with an excellent sound reduction. Today, RENSON® offers a complete set of acoustic Linius® solutions with noise insulation Rw (C;Ctr) ranging from 6 to 21 dB. Most of these blades have been tested and officially approved by the internationally renowned IFT Laboratory in Rosenheim (Germany).
