Little Tree Furniture’s new Reiner collection combines reclaimed hardwood with metal to create an authentic industrial look with a twist.
Unlike fake replica vintage furniture available on the high street, this collection is true to this trend and is genuinely made from salvaged materials. The natural wood used to create this range has a rustic aged aesthetic as the material can be over a hundred years old. The vintage metal handles and fixtures provide the perfect finishing touch and add to the overall industrial aesthetic.
The Reiner collection comprises of eight pieces ranging from sideboards and bookshelves to coffee tables. The Reiner small chest of drawers (shown above) is characterised by its striking metal handles and the studded effect that outlines the contours of the front fascia. In addition, the side table utilises prominent old pipe work to form its joints and the TV plasma unit features industrial style canisters.
In line with the company’s ethos for ‘woodworking with a conscience’, the Reiner collection is handmade by craftsmen in India. The wood used in the Reiner collection is 100% upcycled and therefore each piece is unique. Little Tree Furniture gives new life to this incredibly strong and durable hardwood that would otherwise have been discarded. The wood’s former use gives the Reiner furniture a beautiful patina that is heavily textured, and the incorporation of the industrial metal creates pieces that are truly individual.
