The multilayered polymeric Chameleon film has a polyester surface and a very elaborate colour changing effect. The Satin Dichroic Film has a more subdued colour effect. Compared to the standard Chamelon film, the reflection of the colours is less intense with this version, thanks to a laminated satin film. Applicating of the film onto glass creates a satin look that makes the use of etched or sandblasted glass unnecessary. The film is metal free and as such non corroding or conductive; furthermore it is thermally stable and has low shrinkage. The basic 36 micron film, responsible for the dichroic effect, is a 3M technology. ChameleonLAB adds all durable features on the basic film by cleanroom lamination. The end product has a thickness of 200 micron which meets the technical durability demand for a 10 years warranty. All the designed products are only produced by demand.
