The Centurion EasyGate is the very latest in high tech entrance control systems and is designed to ensure only one person gains access for each authorised card presented. The EasyGate uses glass barriers in conjunction with optical detection technology to provide a high throughput / high security gate.

The EasyGate is available either with a swing style barrier that provides for a narrow discrete pedestal or a retracting barrier that closes the lane quickly behind authorised users to provide maximum security. The glass barriers are designed to work in a normally closed mode and swing inside the pedestal after a valid card has been presented giving the authorised user a clear lane to pass through enabling easy access for users carrying briefcases, gym bags or other large objects. The barriers quickly close behind the authorised person, thereby deterring any unauthorised entry or tailgating.

EasyGate automatically sounds a local alarm if someone enters without authorisation additionally a relay can activate stricter security actions such as triggering CCTV, locking doors, or controlling elevators. Safety beams monitor the area near the barriers and deter the barriers from closing/opening on an obstruction. Additionally, the barriers feature a torque sensor and can detect an object when closing. When integrated with the fire alarm system and upon a fire alarm, the barriers automatically open to allow for free emergency egress. The barriers can also open in the same manner in the event of a power outage.
