CAPELLA. Sinuous and demanding as her name suggests, is a saucer shaped suspensionlight fixture. She is enigmatic, alert and independent and her top quality metalized polycarbonate exterior is available in black, white, copper and silver. Capellas’ designerFilipe Lisboa explains where his inspiration came from. “The honeycomb diffuser wasinspired directly from nature’s honeybees and the shape of the Capella complimented thediffuser and provided a good reflection of light”.The honeycomb diffuser is placed at the opening of the light, and not only hides the lightbulbs from its viewer but also creates an original effect making this light a true VISOcreation. Filipe described “what interested me was to create a diffuser with various comblike entities close together, which would diffuse the light source behind it in a soft and beautiful way”.There are two design sizes, 3 and 2 feet wide by approximately 1 foot high. A black metalcanopy suspends both sizes 6 feet high and custom drops are also available. An LED versionof Capella is available and makes this beautiful light more customizable.
