British designer Jonathan Prestwich has devised an elegant solution to deal with the proliferation of cables and leads in homes and offices in the form of the Arco Cable Sock and Cable Net. A humorous and efficient way of concealing and organising power cables around a desk as elegantly as possible. Excess length of cable is coiled in the net, which is attached to the bottom of the table top with special press studs. From here the cables are grouped together and routed down a table leg to the floor and the nearest socket. The Cable Sock is a narrow knitted sock that holds the cables against the table leg. Like real socks it comes in a range of sizes: small, medium and large to fit different-sized table legs. The Cable Sock also comes in a range of colours and patterns.
