CA' VENIER

Ca' Venier is the Cantiero collection that draws inspiration from the Renaissance. It is entirely made using prime American walnut, with solid walnut sides, tops and doors. This collection is characterized by the 5 mm thick inlaid decorations which are hand-crafted following the ancient techniques of Italian master inlayers and the planing which is also carried out by hand. All the pieces of furniture feature original decorations and iconographs from the closely guarded Cantiero archives. The coloring used for the furnishing accessories in the Ca' Venier collection is the result of careful research into natural earth shades, combined with the application of a lac and beeswax finish. Some elements in the collection are also available with a natural finish that is skillfully obtained by bringing together ancient cabinetmaking techniques and a respect for the natural features of solid wood.
