Design : Philipp-Markus Pernhaupt, 2012 Model : BUNT Maker : lichterloh, Vienna Material : solid wood, lacquered or glazed Details : these cases are a recycling product made of old Viennese roof frameworks, delivery time approx. 4 weeks
Lichterloh presented their newest design on the ICFF in May. A storage colourful like a picture and useful as a rack should be. Based on the slogan "Take Vienna home" this recycled product was designed by using old wood salvaged from Viennese lofts. The come back of the wooden fruit package is charming in its recycling character. Like all pieces of our new production we manufacture them in Vienna in our own workshop.
BUNT shelving system was designed by Philipp-Markus Pernhaupt in 2012. He remained true to his idea of modular systems combined with a colourful friendly image. And he is transfering familiar symbols or pictures into the present. Fruit packages are not used any more in this quality but they still evoke the feeling of fresh local supply where you are able to select strawberries or asparagus or fish on an outdoor market.
BUNT can be easily designed by the customers. They have just to insert the measurement of the wall they want to plan and to be inspired by their feeling for colour and for making a picture. Using the online planner they are able to choose different tints and the dimensions of the boxes. With a mouse click they place them or remove them. Maybe first they are confused by the rich possibilites but in the end the picture will be clear: organize yourself in a coloured way and take Vienna home!
