Coffee tables

Swedish furniture and product designer Ola Giertz‘s latest project is called Bordus, a coffee table with aerodynamic lines. Inspired by angular Stealth fighter jets, the complex angles give the table a twisted look.Built with stellar craftsmanship by Benjamin Holm, the table is made from solid ash with darker walnut dovetail joints. Avoiding the rectangular or round shapes of a typical coffee table, Bordus could easily be considered a sculptural piece in any room with its edges pointing in two opposite directions. You can easily get yourself a bigger table by repeating two tables after each other. Because of the form of the table you get many combination possibilities and a variety of alternatives, depending on the application.
