BOARDEX roof BoardeX roof is a roof board integrated with special white fiberglass mesh on the back surface. It is used instead of OSB or wood under roofing materials such as clay/ concrete tiles and shingles. Class A1 oncombustible BoardeX roof is the absolute solution for noncombustible roofing details. BoardeX roof inhibits mold growth. BoardeX roof, provides roofing solutions of high thermal insulation. BoardeX roof’s carbon emission is much less compared to OSB used for roofing applications. BoardeX roof is the first fiberglass mat coated roof board (Patent Pending), manufactured by Dalsan Alçi, the producer of BoardeX, which has been applied in millions of square meters until today. WHERE TO USE Under any kind of roof cladding system. Provides economical solutions by reducing the thickness of carrier systems’ metal elements, when used as a Wall cladding material in lightsteel constructions. PROPERTIES BoardeX roof has much greater dimensional stability compared to OSB. A craft knife is enough to cut the BoardeX roof. With such easiness, it adds speed to the applications. BoardeX roof facilitates the vaulted roof solutions with its up to 3 meters bending diameter. BOARDEX ROOF MAKES DIFFERENCE ON ROOFS BoardeX roof provides a passive fire safety both by preventing the possibility of fire jumping to the neighbouring roof on attached buildings and by protecting the construction against fire during the flame spread in the roof. Since BoardeX roof is A1 class incombustible, it is an irreplaceable roofing material for structures under fire risk, such as industrial buildings, warehouses, etc. It provides incombustible roofing solutions. It does not catch flame like OSB, thus protects the building against fire for longer duration. It eventually lowers the insurance cost caused by fire risk.
