Infrared for the shower - and the shower becomes an infrared cabin

Bilbao is the name of the infrared module for the shower. This compact, freely-positioned infrared panel fits into every shower. If required, at the same time Repabad also supplies matching seating, such as stools or folding seats. Bilbao features comfortable backrests, carefully maintaining the correct distance between the back and the infrared source, thus assuring the optimum beneficial effects for the body. The infrared element consists of a coated panel frame in aluminium look and a glass attachment with integrated infrared heat source. The glass is available in different attractive colours, including Coffee, Dark Black, Obscure, Pearl and Snow, and can also be ordered in custom colours. Operation of the infrared module takes place using the touch operating panel which is integrated into the glass attachment. The delivery scope includes two backrests made of solid surface material in Arctic White, together with a chrome holder. The installation requires a wall installation unit, together with the necessary sealing collar. The infrared element can be freely positioned, and at the same time provides all the health benefits of infrared in the private shower at home.

Infrared in the shower Infrared works using deep heat. The warming of the back along the spine (approximately 12 % of the entire skin surface) warms the blood inside the body, whereby the warmth is distributed throughout the whole body. In this way the positive effect is not just limited to the area of the back. The targeted application of infrared heat helps to stimulate blood circulation, to relax muscles, and to reduce pain. It has an overall positive effect on the musculoskeletal system and the psyche.
