The BIG BUBBLE combines magic, whimsy and style in a single design. Each piece is a unique, artisanal, hand-blown glass bubble fitted with a dimmable Xicato LED-lamp. You can choose the colour of your lamp (smoke, smoke-green, red or amber,transparent) and since it's handmade, The BIG BUBBLE may also vary in shape.
This design, which is the result of the first collaboration between Alex de Witte and Dark, has been an instant hit, with The BIG BUBBLE landing multiple prizes, including the Design Plus Award 2014 and the Red Dot design award 2014. Also available in a smaller version: the BABY BUBBLE.
