The insulating cement bonded particle boards BetonWood is a material that is suitable for many uses in construction. Made in Portland wood cement high density (1350 kg/m³) and wood fibersof pine stripped of bark, this particular insulation board provides an excellent solution forinterventions designed to achieve high levels of thermal lag, thanks to its high density which makes it suitable even for a self-supporting dry screeds, radiant floors and stiffening structures.
The BetonWood insulating panels combine the advantageous features of the cement with the characteristics of the wood. The structure of the table is made with wood chips and fragments that form the top layer in both sides, up to a rough layer in the central part.
The insulating cement bonded particle boards BetonWood are also available in Sanded version, coming from standard panels appropriately smoothed and calibrated using special machines, tobring the panel thickness to lower dimensional tolerances. These particular insulating panelshave the characteristic of being aesthetically pleasing, since the content wood inside stands outin the upper and lower part, compared to the standard panel, which has instead the particularityof having a totally cement aspect.
Insulating cement bonded particle boards BetonWood can be machined on the edges in order to facilitate the connections during installation: • battened edge for thicknesses less than 14 mm • tongue and groove edge for thicknesses greater than 18 mm
