Armchair

The Acapulco chair is an object in which different times and areas of Mexico meet. Fabric mode that is used in this art object is derived directly from those made by the Mayans; textile knowledge applied to the manufacture of chairs spread throughout the peninsula and later in the Pacific coast, reaching Guerrero, where Acapulco city is located. In the fifties and until the seventies, Acapulco became the global jetset resort, and thus became the redesign of the chair Acapulco, one of its most emblematic popular objects. Lately it has taken the base of this object and there have been new designs to suit different needs and tastes. The flexibility of the materials with which it is manufactured, allows for several different models for both exterior and interior, this possibility arise our different proposals. For many years this chair has been streamlined and improved, now has a high recognition worldwide as several magazines and publications have discussed this subject as a classic Mexican design. Throughout 2014 we manufacture more than 2000 chairs, exporting our work to Germany, Spain, United States and Argentina; and inland cities such as Puebla, Cancun, Guadalajara, Monterrey and the Federal District. This has allowed us to grow increasing productive capacity. Currently our customers sell our Acapulco chairs in design and decoration shops, exhibition design, online sales, among others.
