Stools

a multifunctional stool from FREDERICIA Furniture Børge’s design is in a class of its own. Function and style with the courage to be innovative. The simple design means that his furniture can be upholstered in a wide range of textiles, colours and variants. FREDERICIA Furniture is therefore proud to kick off the summer season with a host of entirely new upholsteries on a selected range of Børge’s greatest classics.

Børge stands, of course, for Børge Mogensen (1914-1972) – one of Denmark’s few architects with whom we are on first-name terms. And with good reason! His unpretentious approach to design and his stringent demands on function, quality and agelessness were hallmarks of his furniture designer career and perhaps explain why to this day his furniture remain timeless icons of Danish design.

Behind the humble name 2202 is a multifunctional stool belonging to a series comprising a two- and three-seater sofa, an armchair and a winged chair.

The stool functions as a natural extension of the wing chair and armchair, but is also perfect as a piece of living room furniture, in front of the fireplace or in the hallway.

As something entirely new, FREDERICIA Furniture has replaced the black and brown leather with four summery colours – namely pink, sage green, delicate yellow and nougat grey. As an aesthetic contrast to the colours, 2202 is also available in vegetable leather.

2202 will be part of a colour-coordinated interior in FREDERICIA Furniture’s Flagship Store and will subsequently be on sale in carefully selected design stores throughout the country.
