The warmth and intensity of wood, the contemporary chromatic research and the unsurpassed technical properties of latest generation stoneware integrate and go perfectly well with the new Ulivo series, as a further addition to the already comprehensive range in the Granitoker line.

Made with state-of-the-art production processes, these ceramic elements are capable of providing different arrangement solutions to designers, which may be personalised and adapted. Moreover, they guarantee suitable performance standards for the most diverse architectural applications: residential, public and commercial.

The Ulivo collection once again draws inspiration from nature, though the industrial ceramic product in its actual use intends to transcend this simple association and stands as a new key material in the light of its specific surface finish matched with the comprehensive colour selection. Slightly faded and irregular, the top surface of this element has the tactile feel of old wooden planks used for quality flooring masterfully treated through hand processes. Again, the sophisticated shades of the four colours available are elegantly combined with the slightly relief surface, which features unique vein, knot, and traditional imperfection patterns usually found in real olive wood.

The Ulivo collection is comprised of single-gauge rectified slabs, 10.5 mm thick and in large 60x120 cm size, which allows to derive smaller 15-20-30 cm wide by 120 cm long modules. The shape is the same as traditional wooden planks; the finish is natural, while the colours are available in four warm shades: ivory, walnut, grey and turtledove. Material, design and colour merge in a sort of multi-sensory overlapping, which is capable of conveying pleasant feelings of tactile softness and visual warmth, to which the hardness and durability of the upper slab surface overlaps to preserve the best characteristics of stoneware whole and unscathed. The Ulivo series is available also in the following versions: Bios Antibacterial HYDROTECT®, with absolute and certified anti-bacterial properties; Bios Self-Cleaning®, with high self-cleaning and contaminant reduction performance.

Just like the rest of Calagrande Padana’s range, the Ulivo series stands out for its environmental compatibility. Indeed, the company has always been involved in researching innovative technologies to manufacture high-performance and low-impact material, as testified by the ISO 14001 and Emas certifications.
