A Day in The Life explores ceramic surface specialist Mosa's creative and production processes, highlighting how its core principles appeal to the architects that use its tiles and the designers that conceptualise them.

From London to Paris and back to The Netherlands, where its headquarters is based, architects talk about their experience with Mosa and what it offers their office and clients. "The materials have a sort of sense of soul and a material quality which is very appealing," says Alex Wraight of Allies and Morrison in London.

The architects celebrate the technical attention that Mosa pays its products and processes, from helping to specify the correct product or customise it for the client, to achieving Crade-to-Cradle certification for its products, thinking alongside architects to reach environmental goals. French designer Stéphane Parmentier talks about how Mosa tiles are technologically rich but how the tiles feel natural in their form: "You don't see the technology but the technology is there."

Christina Kopf, one of the ceramic collections designers, expresses how Mosa gives her the freedom to explore her ideas. The film closes with Nanne de Ru, founder of Powerhouse Company, who talks about Mosa offering a 'toolbox of creativity' to help find a perfect feeling for a space. He considers building as a creative adventure, from design to reality, and how working with a company such as Mosa is refreshing as they follow the same ethos: "In my experience Mosa is one of the very, very few companies that manages actually to really meet its own standards, and actually makes up what it promises."
