èANSWER TO A NEW MARKET NEED The MENDI project was launched to answer to a new growing demand related to the needs evolution in workspaces. Companies are now looking to develop reception areas offering creativity, exchange, coworking; spaces where communication and information can be shared generating a higher productivity.
INNOVATION THROUGH MODULARITY Designed by Jean-Louis Iratzoki, MENDI gives a fresh new look to soft seating concepts with a modern and uncluttered design. The range offers a large number of modules and colour combinations, with lots of possibilities such as adding shelves, plant pots, electrification boxes, visual or acoustic insulation panels.
è ATTRACT A NEW PUBLIC LIKE ARCHITECTS AND SPACE PLANNERS So far, with a 100% indirect sale through a large network of office equipment distributors, SOKOA did not have many contacts with the final customers and the specifiers such as the architects, the space planners, who worked on this kind of projects. Thanks to this range, SOKOA will be able to get a foothold in planning and be in close contact with these specifiers in order to get new market shares. An ambitious marketing plan will go with the launch of this range, such as a dedicated application for tablets and a specific campaign on social networks.
DEVELOP A NEW INDUSTRIAL EXPERTISE MENDI will follow the launch of 2 reception areas programs that required the implementation of a dedicated production line with cabin glue and manipulator in the production unit in Hendaye (France). The program will be the opportunity to capitalize on these recent investments and develop new processes for better quality and competitiveness, without forgetting the workstation ergonomics’ optimization for greater operator’s well-being.

LAUNCH IN OCTOBER AT ORGATEC MENDI will be presented in preview at Orgatec in Cologne from the 21st to the 25th of October. The industrial launch is scheduled in January 2015. Hopefully, with this new reassuring, smart and good value range, we will be able to answer to the new needs, get new market shares and enhance our reputation as a French specialist in office and contract seating.
