Australia’s most energy efficient window! European style tilt & turn windows, available with double or triple glazing and precision made hardware from Germany, offer the flexibility of two opening positions with one handle. Massive energy efficiency and sound protection is assured without compromising architectural design freedom.

The latest energy efficiency test for Paarhammer achieved a very low 0.8 U-value. Testing is performed for the whole window system which includes the frame, glass, seals and spacers. A lower U-value indicates better energy efficiency.

These fittings also have several locking pins all around the window or door, which lock the sash into the frame to provide secure multi-point metal to metal locking. This also means no drafts ensuring that the energy saved by double glazing is not lost through the frame. Double and triple glazing is available in a variety of configurations.

In addition to employing the latest energy saving technologies which achieve massive energy savings of up to 85% (heating and cooling), Paarhammer windows can also deliver an astonishing noise reduction of 45dB.This is a reduction of approx. 80-90%. It is the design and quality of our frames, fittings and seals together with different glass options as well as expertise and craftsmanship that achieve superior thermal properties and outstanding noise reduction.

The Bushfire Attack Level Flame Zone (BAL-FZ) range of Paarhammer products, includingtilt and turn windows, have been tested and approved to the Australian Standards AS3959-2009 and AS1530.8.2 by NATA-accredited ExovaWarringtonfire. Tilt & turn windows, fixed units, sliding doors and French doors are available with a BAL-FZ rating, made from self-extinguishing FSC-certified Manilkara timber frames together with Schott Pyranova glass and special seals.
