The mobility solution ARTLIFT from the sanitary products specialist Artweger convinced the jury of experts with its comfort and design and won the international Red Dot Award: Product Design 2014. This award confirms once again: ARTLIFT is a prime example of provision of mobility in the bathroom for people up to a very old age. The innovative shower bathtub with barrier-free access and an integrated, comfortable seat lift enables independent living within one's own four walls. With trend-setting design and sophisticated technology the Artlift gained the votes of the independent 40-member jury of experts of the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2014. It was not the first time either. Since it was launched in July 2013, the Artlift has won seven design awards. It is the all-inclusive mobility solution for the bathroom and a guarantee for elaborate planning right down to the very last detail. Quality Seal for ARTLIFT The Red Dot Award: Product Design 2014 is the award for first class design quality and is only awarded to products that distinguish themselves by their excellent configuration. The seal of quality is judged on criteria such as durability and functionality, but ecological and economic factors are also taken into account in the evaluation. The panel of judges consists of well-known international design greats who due to their various origins are able to consciously analyze the inter-cultural aspects of design at a high level under the application of strict criteria. Artlift was awarded first place out of 4815 submissions in 2014 in the category "Product Design 2014" for bathroom and wellness. "Awards such as this aid many consumers in their decisions," said the Managing Director of Artweger, Mr Bruno Diesenreiter. The award ceremony of this famous international product challenge will be held on 7 July 2014 in Essen. Around 1,200 guests from throughout the world are expected to attend. Tradition meets Innovation Artweger has defined their objective as the improvement of personal well-being in the bathroom and generally making life easier in a sustainable manner. The success of the Austrian family-owned company lies in innovation paired with quality and functional design. ARTLIFT combines all these factors and is a benchmark for aesthetics and functionality. Thanks to Artweger's progressive spirit of innovation ARTLIFT enables barrier-free quality of life in private households.
