Originally from Guadalajara city (Mexico) Fernando maintains a background of several years in the real estate and construction industries in Mexico before moving to New York where he rapidly pursue professional experience. He was then hired in several engineering and architectural firms serving as project designer in various institutional and transportation projects. He later collaborated in architecturally significant projects as auditing architect for and important real estate developer of design excellence projects in the public realm including Herzog & de Meuron’s 56 Leonard Street, the recently completed One Jackson Square and Andre Balaz’s William Beaver House.

As an Architect he approaches each project from a client's perspective with an innovative yet efficient manner. His ability stands for a neat design with a modernistic contemporary touch connecting the built elements whit the surrounding environment. The aim is to create a sense of ease and openness while focusing creatively in solving complex projects. As a Project Architect, he has been involved in all aspects of the practice, including reaching multiple goals. Its abilities span from conceptual design, detail development, consultant coordination, client communications and the construction administration process of public agencies.

His academic background of ongoing studies in real estate at the Zicklin School Of Business of Baruch College in NY alternates with the visual, cultural and applied studies from SCI-Arch in California, accounting also with the Undergraduate Program of Architecture at the Western Institute of Technology and Higher Education (ITESO)

Fernando is a founding member of Rubin Real Estate a private company in Mexico. He has been working as a partner having joined at its inception in 2009 and responsible for the design and management of such diverse projects as commercial and mix used properties.
