Lauren Moss: registered architect + leed ap (BD+C)
A graduate of U.C. Berkeley with over a decade of experience working in both residential and institutional firms in Southern California, Lauren created Moss Yaw Design studio (MYD studio) in 2009, a full-service architecture + interiors practice with a focus on sustainable design for both new construction and renovations.
In addition to her architectural work, a passion for writing and photography led Lauren to create and maintain MYD studio's popular blog at the firm's website, which covers topics including art, design innovation, urbanism, sustainability, and other related items of note.
Recently awarded the designation of one of California's 'Top 20 Under 40' by Engineering News Record, Lauren has developed coursework and taught 'Green Architectural Design' at Cal State Fullerton Extended Education, and she has been a member of the U.S. Green Building Council for years, serving on both the Education and Steering Committees.
