yoo Apartments Hafencity

Léon Wohlhage Wernik Architekten as Architects

yoo Apartments, Hafencity Hamburg. The luxury apartments in the Hafencity are situated in a highly attractive location in the new quarter on Dalmannkai, right by the water. The residential building is part of an ensemble around an open, raised private courtyard. The urban planning framework was given. The architectural characteristics present large oriels and balconies as a generous, sculptural figure with fine apartments. The façade consists of faced brickwork as a hanging façade structure conceived with limed bricks in beige. Central interior staircases each provide access to two apartments, which are partly organised as single floor flats and partly as maisonette apartments.

Individual requirements can be fulfilled with the idea for the apartments’ interior partition. Many different finishing possibilities provide a high degree of flexibility. The floor plans have a range of options for the desired division, from an open loft atmosphere to a conventional form with partitioning walls and doors. The total of 17 apartments in the building are sized between 82 m² and 227 m². All living areas have a fire and face the water on the upper floors with a large bay window front. The apartments’ bathrooms are fitted according to designs by Philippe Starck.
