The Spun lamp was inspired by the classic wooden top toy. The form has been transformed into a decorative lighting piece available in three sizes and as a floor/table and pendant lamp.
With polished mirror finishes in silver and gold, coupled with a curvaceous form, this lamp can stand alone as a sculptural piece or can create a bold statement to any space when used as an installation. The reflective surfaces of the lamps paired with the frosted glass shades has an interesting play on light with the light turned on or off.
As a pendant lamp, Spun sets a romantic mood over a dining table or in a living space or offers a dramatic setting when used in clusters. The floor lamp refers back to the traditional spinning top being playful and flexible in its positioning tilting upwards or downwards with the addition of a rubber base support piece.
A unique feature of the Spun lamp is that it does not contain any visible screws or fasteners, mimicking the smooth profile of the spinning top. The frosted glass shade is securely held in place with an innovative screw method, allowing a simple twist of the glass shade to access the bulb when needed.
