table and floor lamp designed by jesper k. thomsen and sanne traberg, denmark. the body and legs of the lamp is manually turned in wood after old craft traditions. the name of the lamp (lathe) refers to the small turning tool the craftsmen uses when making the body and legs.
the lamp is made after fair trade principles and at the same workshop as the well-known mater high stool. the oak wood is from controlled sources with a shade in local cotton or linen.
