International competition awarded in collaboration with L35 Arquitectos. The project for the new Clinique de Sousse is the first private hospital (of 150 beds) developed by Groupe MIHRI in Tunisia. It has two separated buildings joined by a four-floor glass hall, emphasizing the main entrance. From the hall you have, at a glance, the full comprehension of the whole complex and its organization. This solution gives clear orientation to patients, staff, and visitors. The building design gives priority to natural lighting and ventilation, through open spaces, courtyards, and gardens to produce a very good sensation of comfort to the people, both thermal and visually. Sustainability, through the reduction of energy consumption is also another of the design aims. The plan solution fulfils also the developer target for future phasing in two stages.
