Residential houses are located on a visually exposed southern slopes above the city center Luhacovice. It forms one of the first objects emerging residential enclave in this place. Location of home helps create a horizon of the surrounding landscape. For this reason, much attention was paid to a soft hilly relief was not disrupt the fitting of rough objects or significant relief changes. The concept is based on the idea of keeping maximal of the original slope. It was achieved by distribution of homes into two materials. First is heavy, concrete, emotionally "growing up" from the slope and forming a platform for a second, largely glassed object of the upper floors. Basement is fully integrated into the slope and is visible only through the garage door cut into the ground. Material corresponds to the position of the individual parts of the building. The ground floor, tied with slope is from a perspective concrete, floor is walled and lined with wooden flooring. Interior solution was designed only in the basic design, it will be completing later by clients.
Typology: Villas do not have fully standard typology of housing. They are intended as a family pensions permanent living for two people. Visitors of objects are considered only from relatives. All guest bedrooms are located in the entrance floor, permanent residential area is in the 2nd floor. This section consists a bedroom in an enclosed garden wing. The main living room and kitchen with dining room is glassed in both sides of the open section. The main living room is followed by terraces. One is with the exposure on the city, the second with private impact is on the garden side. Generosity is replaced by the extent of terraces, due to the slope, lack of garden. In the part from the city side are also two atriums, where ornamental planting will take place. Other parts of the land in the steep will be largely covered by a maintenance-free, climbing green vegetetation. In the basement floor is a garage for one car, laundry room with boiler room. The basement floor is interiorsly connected to the 1st floor as an alternative entrance to the house.
Construction: Given the complexity of establishing in a steep slope, was for the basement and 1st floor chosen solid concrete wall construction. This construction is reinforced against the formation of cracks, so in the ground part works the concrete as a waterproofing and ucovered part as perspective. 2nd floor is built structures in combination with glassed steel skeleton parts. Facade cladding is Siberian larch boards, the same material is used on the terraces.
