The new Art and Music Center is a composite complex with different functions with different needs: the art museum, the music center, a main public entrance square, a park facing the river.
The museum will be used more during the daytime, while the concert hall will perform most at night. The whole program is split into two volumes that shift to east and west in order to enlarge the chance to enjoy the river view. The buildings fold themselves creating an artificial landscape, as a sculpture or some sound wave. For the functional point of view this up and down movement adapts itself to the spatial needs of the music halls (slopes for the auditoriums) and create an interesting variation for the exhibition spaces in the museum.
