Our main interest lays on discussion first of all, ideas. Shaping concepts, based on the research of new spatiality, new materials and especially new relationships that we can establish between people and the environment in which they operate. From there, we are free to work at any scale, proposing small objects for daily use, work furniture or an architectural object. For most design problems, various solutions have been found. And now, in addition to solving a problem, what if the design also propose to discuss issues of contemporary living, as our multi-faceted culture, new concepts of interaction with the building or even the distribution of food on the planet? Paulo Camargo /Architects is a firm that intends to study issues that go beyond architecture and design as built objects. Our main interest lies in what happens between these objects and people, the relationships that are established at the time that the interaction happens. How we feel in the spaces where we live, work and play? How do we change them and how they change us? In which spheres these relationships take place: the concrete or the virtual environment or virtual? Or both? No ready answers. Asking the right questions for each project.
