Cocoon is the latest piece in the MacMaster range. It is an open structure pendant light consisting of eight beautifully laminated timber leaves. The expressive form gives view to a warm globe that graduates ambient light onto the inner veneers of the structure. The pendant light reveals a stunning contrast between the inner and outer surfaces of the leaves by highlighting and silhouetting the leaf profiles that mirror each other. Designed with sustainability in mind, the pendant lights has been manufactured to minimise material wastage and packaging. The pendant light is constructed from multiples of flat packable, laminated veneer components and can be quickly assembled using the small fittings provided.
