Softroom creates award-winning architecture and has evolved a specialism in interiors—highly imaginative but carefully thought-through spaces that function beautifully. The studio has developed a particular specialism for hospitality interiors across a broad range of sectors, as well as cultural spaces and large-scale retail projects. The designs of the studio are the product of intense research and a focus on designing from the perspective of the people that will use them, combined with the latest technologies and materials. Softroom has worked with some of the biggest brands in the world, alongside grand public institutions. Major clients include the British Museum, V&A Museum, Eurostar and Virgin Atlantic, and awards range from a D&AD Yellow Pencil to the Stephen Lawrence Prize. Softroom was founded in 1995 by directors Christopher Bagot and Oliver Salway. Our team is talented, dedicated, and deeply collaborative.
