The vacant upper floors of the main shopping street of Middelburg have been converted into four fully furnished luxury apartments by IDNA. A patio located in the heart of the building, supplies the apartments with an abundance of natural light. On the ground floor, at the back, a cafeteria was added to the store. With the input of Dutch artist, Dieuwke Parlevliet (www.zeeuwsblauw.nl), a creation of poems representing the genius loci of the area, is projected on the walls. Design stage: 2007-2008 Construction stage: 2009-2010 Client: Stichting Moerman Promotie Vlissingen Lacation: Middelburg, Netherlands Project team: Reggy Hulsken, Jeroen Elfering, Frank van der Vecht, Diewke Parlevliet
