The design of the Heights is a synthesis of the dramatic site, the stunning views and contemporary tropical architecture. The concept draws its inspiration from the designs of Italian hill towns, where natural context and manmade architecture form an organic whole. Asked to maximise the saleable area of this site the design sought to underplay the architecture of the individual building, concentrating instead on the overall composition of the 52 unit whole. The cascading architecture of the units is broken up with heavily planted green spines, serving as the vertical connectors between the roadways and the units. This development was awarded the Best Condominium Development in Phuket in the 2008 Thailand Property awards.
