De L’Europe hotel, a special monument located at the Amstel river in Amsterdam, has been renovated. All 5-star rooms have been rebuild and restyled with Axor Montreux and Axor Citterio M mixers and showers in brushed nickel. The Axor collections give the rooms the authentic style and atmosphere that fits within the exterior and interior design of the hotel.

All showers and mixers are fitted with the Ecosmart technology, which requires up to 60% less water than conventional products, without the loss of comfort. Lower hot water consumption means lower energy requirements. And that means: fewer CO2 emissions and lower costs. This is mainly why Hotel De L’Europe is one of the first 5-star hotels in the Netherlands that is certified Gold by the Green Key program.

De L’Europe was opened in 1896, and is often referred to as the other “Royal Palace of Amsterdam”. The hotel has an impactful décor, with original paintings from the private collection of Dutch beer magnate Alfred Heineken.
