Wimshurst Pelleriti

At Wimshurst Pelleriti we are creative in our design, attentive to our client’s expectations and considered in our approach. The cornerstone of our practice is our belief that good architecture should not just appeal on an aesthetic or economic level, it should also be forward-thinking and enhance the health and wellbeing of the end-user and the community it serves. Our approach integrates research and development, the use of innovative materials, a willingness to view problems from all angles, and a desire to deliver positive social impact. Using our team’s considerable knowledge, skill and experience we create beautiful and practical architecture that exceeds expectations. We also develop our own buildings and so in some cases we act as both architect and client. This gives us an invaluable ability to understand the client’s point of view and the construction process from every perspective. Prior to founding Wimshurst Pelleriti, the core team worked together at Rogers Stirk Harbour & Partners (RSH-P), an architectural practice where unparalleled design excellence is in their DNA. Wimshurst Pelleriti has grown rapidly, drawing in other talented young architects with the aim of bringing a bold and refreshing approach to the design process. While working at RSH-P the founding partners led teams that designed and delivered a wide range of award winning buildings. Perhaps the most prominent project was Maggie’s Centre in London that won the 2009 RIBA Stirling Prize. The team also designed the new 14 storey cancer centre for Guys Hospital in London. What links these projects with Wimshurst Pelleriti is vision and ambition that facilitates high quality buildings that are ethically designed, have a positive social impact within their community and give long lasting pleasure to their users.
