threefoldarchitects was established to make innovative and exciting, contemporary architecture that delights visually and experientially; an architecture that enhances its environment and benefits the lives of the people who experience it. Founding partners Matthew Driscoll & Jack Hosea have combined a wide range of experience in housing, arts & cultural projects through their work at a number of award winning practices. Renée Searle joined as a partner at the beginning of 2009 bringing with her both an expert knowledge of sustainable construction technologies and a broad range of experience of running large scale housing and education projects. As a senior team we have a comprehensive knowledge of a diverse range of areas including planning negotiation, working with listed buildings, education, residential refurbishment & extensions, sustainable new build housing design and materials technology. As a practice we don’t have a ‘house style’, every design draws upon the knowledge that we have gained from past experiences but above all we treat each new project as an opportunity to create something innovative and unique. We pride ourselves in our ability to bring excellent design solutions to every project and to communicate effectively with clients, consultants and contractors to complete projects on time and on budget. To date our work has won awards, competitions, created successful places and spaces, and surprised, delighted and satisfied our clients. We are proud of what we have created so far but we continually strive to exceed expectations and better our achievements in the future.
