Self Architects is a medium sized firm based in Sheffield but operating throughout England and Wales.
Formed in 1979, the practice has wide experience in Housing, Healthcare, Commercial, Industrial and Leisure projects.
Our belief is that the success of a project is built on listening to, questioning and understanding our clients. The design solutions presented will only be successful if they answer fully all our clients requirements in terms of brief, budget and programme. They will only be realised with close attention to detail and by anticipating and solving problems before they happen.
Our people have a wide range of skills from Architectural Design to Interiors, Project Management and acting as Planning Supervisors. We liaise closely with other consultants and contractors to build a successful project team. We believe in co-operation before confrontation.
Communication is essential to a successful project. Whether spoken, written or drawn, we use modern equipment to produce information and transmit it efficiently. We work in open plan offices to increase information flow throughout the design team.
