Schelde North America was founded in 1976 under the name Sports Camps International. Later morphed into SCI Sports, and Schelde equipment was added in late 1984. In 1996 the company was re-named Schelde North America.
The company is the sole distributor and manufacturer of Schelde brand equipment in North America, and distributes other manufacturers’ equipment to meet the needs of most sports teams and facilities. Specializes in Volleyball and Basketball equipment featuring industry-leading design from American and European engineers.
Schelde has supplied basketball and other equipment to three Olympic Games (Sydney, Barcelona, and Moscow)
Schelde sponsors the NCAA Division III Men’s and Women’s Schelde Coach of the Year.
