Roschmann Group

The well-known company Roschmann was founded in 1952. Base glass in all variations is being processed to insulating glass under the name Roschmann Glas GmbH & Co. KG since then. The special knowledge of glass manufacturing led into the foundation of the new commercial branch for manufacturing of steel constructions combined with insulated glass. Roschmann Konstruktionen aus Stahl und Glas GmbH has started to manufacture steel and glass constructions - mainly facades and roofs - in 1987 and is a 100% family owned business since its foundation. International growth of the Roschmann Group in Europe has led to acquisition of HeFi SAS, France, in 2004 and thus added the capabilities and expertise of light-shell stainless steel cable, node, and rod constructions. In keeping with the design demands and requests of architects and engineers in the United States, Roschmann Group incorporated its first U.S. operations in New Haven, CT in April of 2010 to enter the market in North America for high end steel and glass structures. Roschmann Steel & Glass Constructions Inc. has successfully completed a number of distinguished projects in the North America to date. In 2012, the Roschmann Group was expanded by the engineering office Roschmann Steel & Glass Würzburg GmbH to relieve the design & engineering department at the headquarters. With this current set-up, the Roschmann Group is ideally positioned and very flexible to consequently implement visionary concepts in steel and glass. A unique company´s asset is the deep knowledge of the highly motivated team of engineers to manage very demanding and difficult steel and glass structural design concepts. Roschmann is one of the few steel and glass construction companies with international references in elaborating integrated heating and/or cooling systems for curtain walls. The company owns broad and specialized fabrication equipment for the fabrication of insulated glass, steel structures, sheet metal and aluminum structures. Roschmann is able to provide civil engineering and construction support and has its own maintenance services. Roschmann employs about 200 people within the group today.
