Resstende is a leading Italian company in the blind and awnings trade. It is the only manufacturer exclusively specialized in technical roller blinds and is esteemed by famous international designers and architects. The company, formerly "Prodotti Resstende", was founded in 1975 and originally commercialized technical fabrics, mechanical accessories and tubular motors for blinds. The experience gained in only a few years allowed it to design and develop its first series of black-out and shading blind systems in 1980. During the course of the years, a combination of research, quality and technology have contributed to the steady growth of the company, that now offers a range of well over 1000 products which are sold in over 30 countries worldwide. The factory in Agrate Brianza conforms to all modern productive and legal requirements which is indispensable in order to guarantee the quality of its products. RESSTENDE was one of the first companies in the sun protection trade to apply the CE safety marking of its products, its motorized blinds have been CE certified since 1999. The company continues to invest in new technologies and bought a new laser fabric cutting machine in 2012. Furthermore in 2011 RESSTENDE amplified its product range with a new elegant collection and innovative fabrics: the LAYLIGHT collection. This collection has a clean simple look and environmental friendly materials such as aluminum and wood. Technical blinds and home furnishings, two different worlds that Resstende have successfully amalgamated in this new product line.
