About Us The Center for Athletic Performance does more than sports training and physical therapy. We educate, provide career opportunities and involve ourselves in the surrounding communities. We are passionate about helping others and go beyond our facilities to do so. We believe in teaching people of all ages about injury prevention, strength and conditioning, sports specific skills and overall well-being. We also provide mentorship programs and seminars for anyone looking to earn their CEU’s or certifications. Our Mission Utilizing the most up-to-date research and equipment available in sports medicine and sports performance training, our community is provided with the greatest possible opportunity for injury prevention, rehabilitation and performance training in an effort to achieve each individual’s highest level of performance; be it in life or athletics. History The Center for Athletic Performance and Physical Therapy was founded in March of 2003 by Tom Bratcher with the purpose of opening an affordable premier physical therapy and performance clinic where all patients would be provided with the greatest level of care and given every chance to achieve their highest goals. As success grew in the Scottsdale location, The Center for Athletic Performance and Physical Therapy expanded to Cave Creek in 2005, Kansas City in 2007, and Arrowhead in 2013. Over the course of this time, The Center has helped athletes of all levels from professional to recreational succeed in conquering their fitness goals and getting back to participating in the activities they love.
